Enrolment

Foundation (Prep) Enrolments

We welcome enrolment enquiries from families seeking a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

If your child is starting Foundation (Prep) in 2027, you can apply to enrol them at a Victorian government primary school from the beginning of Term 2, 2026. The Department of Education manages a statewide Foundation enrolment process to ensure a consistent experience for all families.

How to Apply

Enrolment applications may be completed through the Victorian Government’s Online Enrolment System where available, or by contacting the school office for further information about the school’s enrolment process.

Before submitting an application, we encourage families to:

  • Book a school tour and meet our staff.
  • Learn about our learning programs and facilities.
  • Ask any questions about the enrolment process.

Foundation (Prep) Eligibility

Children enrolling in Foundation (Prep) must turn five years of age on or before 30 April 2027.

Required Documentation

When submitting an enrolment application, families may be asked to provide:

  • Birth certificate or passport (proof of age)
  • School Entry Immunisation Certificate
  • Proof of permanent residential address
  • Visa documentation (if applicable)
  • Court or parenting orders (if applicable)
  • Medical management or health care plans (if applicable)

Additional documentation may be requested where required.

School Entry Immunisation Certificate

All students commencing Foundation are required to provide a School Entry Immunisation Certificate as part of the enrolment process.

This certificate is available from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). Further information can be obtained through Services Australia or the Victorian Department of Health.

School Zones

Every Victorian child has the right to attend their designated neighbourhood government school.

Our school zone is available on the Find my School website, which provides the most up-to-date information on Victorian government school zones.

Students living within the school’s designated zone are guaranteed a place, subject to verification of their permanent residential address. Families may also apply to schools outside their local zone, with applications considered in accordance with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy and available places.

School Tours

We encourage prospective families to attend a school tour to experience our learning environment, meet our staff and discover what our school has to offer.

School tours are held regularly throughout the year. Please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time.

Enrolment Timeline

The Department of Education publishes a statewide Foundation enrolment timeline each year. Families are encouraged to submit applications within the published timeframe to ensure applications can be processed promptly. Applications received after the closing date will continue to be considered as they are received.
